Project Description
Lemos International successfully completed the full instrumentation and control (I&C) installation for an offshore gas platform operated by ADMA-OPCO in Abu Dhabi. The project involved designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning a comprehensive I&C system tailored to meet the unique demands of hazardous offshore environments. Our scope included the integration of all instrumentation loops with the Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring seamless operation and real-time monitoring of critical processes.
Our scope of work included:
- Hazardous-Area Compliant Layouts: Designed and implemented layouts that adhered to stringent hazardous-area standards, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Instrumentation Installation: Installed sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other field instruments across the platform.
- Loop Calibration & Testing: Conducted precision loop calibration and testing to ensure accurate data transmission and system functionality.
- DCS Integration: Integrated all instrumentation loops with the DCS, enabling centralized control and monitoring of the platform’s operations.
- Commissioning Support: Provided end-to-end support during the commissioning phase, ensuring all systems were fully operational before handover.
